Farm-to-table plates, craft cocktails, and speciality coffee — Tweet is where bold plans hatch, big conversations flow, and beautifully crafted food fuels it all.
Explore our dining experiences, where we bring clay pot cooking back to the table through our monthly community Supper Club and our Chef's Table private dining experience.
A Taste of Rwanda Experiences
"Rwanda's been cooking like this for centuries. We're just finally laying the table."
For generations, Rwandan families cooked in clay pots — slow, over coals, the whole household gathered round. Fish wrapped in banana leaves and buried in the embers. Goat left to braise with green bananas until the sun went down. Flavours that no modern pan has quite managed to copy.
Somewhere between the village and the city, most of that got left behind.
Chef Angelique went looking for it. She co-wrote Uruhimbi — Rwanda's Gastronomy and Culinary Art, and brings clay pots back to the table every month. We call the result A Taste of Rwanda. There are two ways to experience it.
Chef's Table at The Nest
Taste Rwanda's rich culinary history through a five-course tasting menu. The experience is presented by our Chef, who co-wrote a book on traditional Rwandan cooking and talks through the history and ingredients of each dish. Add our local drinks pairing and enjoy it all in our private dining room.
$60 per person – Rwandan drinks pairing $25 per person alcoholic or non-alcoholic available
Groups on demand with 24 hours' notice.
The Nest Supper Club
Long before restaurants existed, neighbours and travellers gathered round a single pot — to eat, to talk, to find out who else was in town. On any given Supper Club you might be seated beside a Kigali entrepreneur, someone on their first night in Rwanda, or someone who grew up eating this food at their grandmother's table. The menu changes every month so Chef Angie and the pots do the rest.
40,000 Rwandan francs per person, all dishes included
50,000 Rwandan francs with a welcome cocktail
Takes place at The Nest from 6–9pm. The 2026 Supper Club dates are:
Friday 31 October
Friday 21 November
Friday 19 December
Places are limited — so please reserve in advance.
